Round two of construction from the air

Caption: Steel reinforcement weighing up to 84 tonnes is fixed in place. In total, the 76 turbines require more than 6,000 tonnes of reinforcement.

Last year we published our first aerial footage of the construction works at Pen y Cymoedd. We have now been onsite for close to 18 months and the progress made can be seen in our latest aerial footage. Don’t forget that we are running site visits over the summer for local people to see the construction works with their own eyes. Get in touch if you are interested in joining us.

200 school pupils see construction with their own eyes

Over the last 3 months around 200 primary school pupils from both RCT and NPT have visited Pen y Cymoedd Wind Energy Project to see the construction works with their own eyes from our purpose built education cabin. This project will be a big part of the young people’s lives and it is therefore important for them to learn about the construction process first hand.
