Meet the team – Adam Evans, Turbine Technician

adam-evans

I started working at Pen y Cymoedd in the Summer of 2016. I have just completed a three year apprenticeship in wind turbine maintenance which was funded by Vattenfall, in conjunction with local company Isofab and Neath Port Talbot College. My first two years helped me gain the knowledge and understanding of basic engineering. During my  third year I worked offshore with Vattenfall at Kentish Flats Offshore Wind Farm off the coast of Kent, completing a Level 3 NVQ and successfully passing my apprenticeship. Before that, I studied Engineering at GCSE and A Level.

I am very much looking forward to working on PyC Wind Farm and expanding my wind turbine knowledge and gaining different experiences. Living very close to work really helps with my work life balance too.

I spend majority of my time with my twin brother, Luke. We enjoy watching football and socializing.
