Reunited with her owner!


Thank you to everyone who helped us reunite Seeka, the lovely dog with her owner via social media.

She was found onsite earlier today by members of our construction team. Gwyn, Site Foreman for Jones Bros Balfour Beatty fed her and she has being drying out in our offices throughout the day. The owner is currently on his way to pick her up.

Local budding engineer bags job after travelling 140 miles for careers event

Determination paid off for budding young civil engineer Sean Jones after he undertook a four-hour journey to a careers open day in an effort to secure a work placement and was offered a job.

Construction and surveying student Sean, travelled the 140-mile journey from his home in Glynneath to attend the inaugural careers day held by award-winning Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK in Ruthin, North Wales.

Over 600 visitors during construction


Over the last two Summer periods we have hosted site visits to the wind farm for interested individuals to see the construction works with their own eyes. Over 600 visitors have taken us up on this offer, with some taking the chance twice over, firstly to see the turbine foundations in 2015 and secondly to see the turbine installations this Summer.
