Currently Vice Chair of Cwm Taf University Health Board, member of Cwm Taf Regional Partnership Board, responsible for ensuring implementation of the social services and well-being act in Rhondda, Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil, and a member of the West Glamorgan Shreivalty (covering the Neath and Afan Valleys), Donna is hugely qualified, insightful regarding the needs of deprived communities, and well connected with networks of stakeholders who are helping to drive numerous and varied community development and well-being schemes. She also has significant experience assessing grants against criteria.

PRESS RELEASE: Community vision one step closer with key appointments to wind farm investment fund

Vattenfall, the Swedish energy company behind Wales’s largest onshore wind farm, has appointed Board Members to guide community investment from one of Britain’s biggest funds.

With the first investments from the annual £1.8mn less than a year away, the experienced Board, chaired by Marc Phillips, former Head of Wales for BBC Children in Need and former head of UK Policy for the popular charity met for the first time recently.

The Board will be responsible for a new, independent body known as a Community Interest Company (CIC).
