Over the last two Summer periods we have hosted site visits to the wind farm for interested individuals to see the construction works with their own eyes. Over 600 visitors have taken us up on this offer, with some taking the chance twice over, firstly to see the turbine foundations in 2015 and secondly to see the turbine installations this Summer.

Site Visits and the A4061 Rhigos Road Works

Thank you to everyone who has registered to join us for a site visit. You will have received an email late last week containing your joining instructions. Many of you will be aware that Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council plan to close the A4061 Rhigos Mountain Road for resurfacing from 25th July for three weeks. The majority of the visits fall within this time period.

Last year 300 of you joined us for a site visit to see the turbine foundations under construction. With all 76 turbine foundations now complete, turbine installations are now well underway and we would like to invite you to join us to come and see the cranes in action. Please register your interest here and we will forward your joining instructions closer to the time of your visit.
